Weekly rhythm
Most wearers settle into a weekly cycle: remove, clean the scalp and base, re-bond. Set aside 30 unhurried minutes. Our Studio Maintenance Kit contains the adhesive, remover and prep for the first three months.
Washing and conditioning
Wash the system in cool water with sulfate-free shampoo, moving with the hair rather than scrubbing. Condition mid-lengths to ends only — conditioner on the base loosens knots. Pat dry, never wring, and let it finish air-drying on its stand.
Styling
Human hair systems style like natural hair: low-heat blow-drying, matte clays, light hairsprays. Keep direct heat under 180°C / 356°F and away from the base. For significant restyles, take it to your barber — or order pre-cut styling and skip the chair.
